6 FUN THINGS TO DO WITH KIDS IN LOS ANGELES

There is no shortage of things to do in LA- no matter the weather. There are many fun and family-friendly spots like Zoo, Beach, Family Fun Center in Los Angeles, Hollywood Bowl, etc. If you are looking for a fun-filled day out with your kids and friends, check out these top five kid-friendly spots in Los Angeles:

1.     Griffith Observatory

The Griffith Observatory is a Los Angeles icon that you and your kids will love. It's a science museum with an extensive collection of telescopes and exhibits, but you don't have to be an astronomy nerd to enjoy it. The observatory is also a beautiful tourist attraction with one of the best views in LA.

Griffith Park, which houses the observatory, is also home to other fun attractions like the Los Angeles Zoo, the Travel Town Train Museum, Bronson Canyon, and the site of the Hollywood sign.

2.     The Getty Museum

The Getty Museum has some of the finest art collections in Los Angeles, including works by Van Gogh, Monet, and Renoir. It also has beautiful gardens that kids will enjoy exploring and plenty of kid-friendly art exhibits and events designed just for them. And it's free!

3.      Laser Tag Facility Los Angeles

An incredible thing about visiting an interactive Laser Tag facility in Los Angeles is that it's not just for kids; adults can get in on the action. It makes laser tag an ideal activity for families. Laser Tag is a classic activity that has been around since 1979 and is still as popular today as it was then. It's a fun, high-tech game that involves shooting lasers instead of bullets, so there's no risk of injury.

4.     Disneyland

It's amongst the most popular theme parks in the world. Disneyland makes for a great day trip when you visit with kids. It is located in Anaheim, but it's still very close to Los Angeles. It's not cheap, the entrance fee for a single day ticket can cost up to $135 per person (children under three are admitted for free), but if you have enough money for this kind of vacation, I'm sure you can afford Disneyland as well.

5.     Venice Beach

Los Angeles has miles of sandy beaches, and Venice Beach is one of them. It's located only 15 minutes away from Santa Monica by car. If you go there in summer, make sure to drive along the beach road. There is a nice pedestrian path with lots of shops and restaurants.
